Creative Bioarray has established one of the most complete biological laboratories with extensive, state-of-the-art equipment. Customer satisfaction is our mission and our technicians supply deep cell analysis and sorting services based on BD Fortessa Analyzer.
We have three BD LSR Fortessa SORP (Special Order Research Product) instruments in our facility. Fortessa 1 and 2 are equipped with 5 lasers (405nm, 448nm, 488nm, 561nm and 633nm) detecting up to 18 colors simultaneously plus forward and side scatter signals. These analyzers are located in U1.44 and therefore only BSL-1 samples can be acquired.
We have installed the Forward Scatter (FSC) PMT option that can lower the threshold for size measurements in Fortessa 1 and 2. This is most often used for the analysis of smaller particles such as microbial cells. Only 5mL tubes with the reference 352054 from BD can be used on these instruments. Fortessa 1 and 3 are equipped with an HTS loader (see below) to enable automated sample acquisition from 96 or 384 well plates.
